Reflection of 2018

This is my reflection of 2018. It has my Learning and how it went, what I enjoyed about writing and what I disliked. My behaviour and what my behaviour was like this year. My goals for 2019 so what I am going to try to do for 2019. What I have been involved in this year like sport tournaments, taumata and any other events. What I have liked and disliked like what I have enjoyed and didn't enjoy so much. My achievements what i am proud of or what I have achieved. And My Highlights of 2018 my favourite things to do or events.                                                                                                                       

Can It Ice Cream

On Tuesday this week we made ice cream. We did a class one at first but after we made a group ice cream. In our group we had Ryker, Tyler, Jahrome and me. It was really easy shaking the mixture but we didn't know what we would put into the ice cream mixture. We tasted 2 other different groups there names were pinocalada and boy berry. We like Pinocalada so they went in 1st our mixture went in 2nd and boy berry 3rd.

Shipwreck

Shipwreck

There was a once a person called Jimmy he was in a shipwreck that only left him alive. Jimmy ended up swimming 100 meters to a island, The island had food and materials to make a shelter. For the first day he slept in a cave the next 2 days were spent making a shelter and collecting food. There was only 2 types of fruit coconut and pineapple.

The 1st week of him on the island he had created a shelter, a crossbow with arrows and a place to start a fire. He didn't go crazy yet because he had a pet cat and there were other animals there including goats and horses that he became friends with. When he couldn't find fruit he used his crossbow to kill something then his fireplace to cook it.

The 1st month in, he decided that he needed to get off the island he started to collect vines and large sticks but he needed a something to cut down bamboo and trees. He found some strong wood off the ground and then found a sharp rock to sharpen tho wood with he collected his materials but he needed a plan.

3 months in, He had created a plan an made a canoe and some paddles. He created some places to store food his cat and other things he wanted to bring with him. He made a horn so that he could make a loud noise so people could notice him. He had packed everything he needed he was ready to travel back.

Last day he was nervous but he got on his canoe and travelled back it was a safe trip until a storm hit but it didn't affect him too much. He could see the island he was travelling to his canoe was falling apart so he swam the rest of the 50 metres. He made it back and he walked to his home and slept in a bed for the first time in 3 and a half moths.

This is my blog writing we do every Monday. I did this piece of writing because I didn't do anything interesting on the weekends. It was easy writing this because the picture could make a lot of different stories. It was hard choosing a photo because there were so many different ones I wanted to do.

The lost ship

The lost ship

There were two explores they recently discovered a cave they they went about 30 metres into the cave then it was blocked off so they went back to there lab and got there tools they needed. They busted through the wall they could not believe what they saw it was a broken boat. They had to fix it luckily they brought the fixer up-325637 it fixed anything in 15-60 minutes depending on how big it is. They fixed but they didn't realise there was treasure as well. They opened the treasure it was a map to all the precious belongings.

They took the map back to there lab they studied it they found the island. They travelled to the island by ship. They made it there but what they saw took there breath away it was the ancient temple they have been looking for since they were 8 years old. They went into the temple and they saw the treasure but there was arrows shooting so it wasn't easy to get past. When they were 10 they took karate so they rolled, jumped and flipped over and around the arrows. They both opened the treasure together the found gold, coins, jewellery and gems.

They took it back to the ship and sailed back home. They sold there gold, coins, jewellery and gems they were rich they could buy what ever they wanted to buy a mansion, Televisions ps4 anything. But at the bottom they couldn't believe what they saw it was...

I chose this piece of writing because I know I could write something interesting on this. I found this easy to write because I could of gone so many different ways. I found choosing what path to go down challenging. My next steps is to make my paragraphs more clear

Maori directions

This week my class did maori directions I was with Kauri. He directed through the class room while I was blind folded collecting shapes on they way I collected 4 in total. I was easy moving around but hard to collect the shapes

Digital Technology

This is my song that I made for digital technology it was hard to find what beat was good but it was easy to use.

The Feathered Creature

There was a hungry creature in the forest he was a carnivore he ate any food in his path he went by the name of the feathered hunter. He was hungry we saw a castle with a lot of people he sky dived right down he ate half of the people but then a brave soldier came out and challenged him to a duel he shot his bow and hit him in the eye. The feathered hunter charged at the soldier he quickly slashed a sword at the creature and split him in half and then the king promoted him to the castle protector and he killed many monsters and kept the castle safe.

Cheetah Report

This is my writing that I have done for the week. I have written a report on cheetah because there my favourite animal and I was really interested in them. It was hard doing it in 2 days with other work.                           

The Beach

We have started to put writing on our blog every Monday about our weekend or a picture.

On Saturday we went to Paihia to go to the beach in was a really hot day so it was perfect. We ran straight on to the sand and it was burning it was like the sun melted the sand into lava. we ran into the water and jumped right in. It was nice and cold so it cooled us right down we went down deeper so that we could play in the waves they were pretty big and really fun. We were hungry so we went to go get some fish and chips they took about 5 minutes but then we got them and they disappeared in 2 minutes. We brought the cricket set and then played. My dad was first he did some really far shots but I caught his last hit barely. Koda did a good throw and I smashed the ball past every one my dad had to run back and get it he took a shot but missed. I miss hit the ball and it went straight into my mums hands it was getting late so we decided to go home after this last one I took a pitch and hit the three poles it was 6:00 so we went home.

Assembly

This is my class assembly we only had about 3 days to prepare. Our 4 items were te reo selfies, 2 dances and a song. We had to create some masks for Un Poco Loco (One of our Dances). We really enjoyed performing in front of the school and looking forward for our next assembly. Credit to Tyler for running the sound  and Tyran for the slide.

Paintball

We walked in and took the mask off the hook and put it on we grabbed the gun and ran to hide. 3...2...1... GO!! He Screamed go and we immediately started to fire they flanked so I took a couple of shots they were both really close I stood up to get closer to the target but I got shot from about 20 meters away. One of my teammates rushed to get me  they tagged me in and them soon after got shot I tagged him in and hit two people rushing our base. Most of my team were out  so I went to tag them but I got shot I was up to one person and they surrendered then we went back in sweaty and tired. 

Maori Maze

 This is my maori maze me and Rico did we were learning to give and follow simple instructions. The commands we learnt were maori command the commands were Haere tōtika - go straight, Piki ake - go up, Heke iho - go down, Ka tu - stop. Our task was to follow the instructions that we were given blindfolded. I found being blindfolded hard because we couldn't see where we were going. My next step is to try to do my lines straight instead of diagonal.

My Holiday

Last Holiday I went to Laser maze. We went in the doors their was 10 pin bowling and laser maze we decided to go to laser maze we put on  the glowing jacket and clip them on. GO! we ran in the doors to darkness we lighted up more the deeper we went in. I quietly flanked and snuck up on my mum and shot her and dashed away quickly. I got shot and my gun lost it's light for a while, I suddenly lit up again and got a sneaky shot threw the window on my brother and then followed up with another on my aunty but mum shot me threw the mirror. I had to hide so that I could regenerate my light. I spotted the base and rushed towards it shooting and and collecting the points. Me, my cousin and my brother regrouped and snuck up on them while they were shooting the base I got one and my cousin got two the game yelled GAME OVER!. We followed the arrows out. Yellow (My Team) had 17000 points Red (Opposition) 12000 points we won by 9000 points and went to the scores and I read My cousin came 1st I cam 2nd and my mum came 3rd.

Te reo Selfie

This is my Te reo selfie it is a video that you make speaking in maori. I liked the experience that I had doing this I din't like having to take a lot of clips until I got the right one. I think that doing this has taught me some Maori. I would recommend it to people that want to try or learn Maori.

How To Make a Quality D.L.O Blog Post

This post is about how to make a quality blog post we are learning this because we want to know how to make our blog posts as good as they can be. I found it hard to make work look interesting, I need to use less boring words. I found having a lot of space to use easy because I could fill it in with what I wanted to put in. My next steps is to make my posts more attractive and have more in depth learning stories.

Maths Eyes

This is my maths eyes it shows what I saw my self and some people might see different things but this is what I see like ruff lines and perpendicular lines. It was easy Thinking of Questions but not so easy of the things I saw. Anything you see different

My Conference

This is my conference I made it about me on what I could work on and my goal and if I have completed them or not in maths, reading and spelling I think I need to work on my spelling the most. This also shows what I like, Ps4, Football, Overwatch and Fortnite. It has what I'm proud of, I'm most proud of being on taumata because it is something out of my comfort zone. It shows what I have attended in. What I thought of my behaviour is in here and what the teacher and my parents can help me. Anything I could add?

Writing

This is my animal report writing it was easy to choose the animal because a cheetah is my favourite animal. It was hard writing this all. Is there anything I could add?

Genius Hour

This is mine Ricos and Tyrans genius hour it was really fun. It was hard doing circuits at first but easy when we started to do it more often. Is there anything you could tell me to add?

Maori

This is my Maori because our school is currently learning it. It was hard at first but it was easy when I got the hang of it. Anything else I can add?

This is our cheese project we made dough and cheese to make a pizza, the cheese was delicious cooked. It was easy to make the dough nothing was hard. Do you have any ideas  for what I could add.

My World Record

This is my world record that I have created it was easy to think what to do. It was harder than expected to do though. Me and my friend did it and I won, my best score was 1:22 minutes. You should try it out.

Rubbish Writing

This is my writing about rubbish  our school is learning about rubbish because it is a problem in our community. It was hard to write this but easy to copy and paste it in. I think I could make it look better next time. Do you have any ideas on what I can do next?

Sea Cleaners

This is my sea cleaners project because this term our focus is conservation and yesterday we did a big clean up around the local river. Writing this down was easy but it was hard going through the videos to find the information. Maybe next time I could make my work cleaner. Do you have any feedback?

Term 1 Reflection

This is my term 1 reflection this is what I learnt what I achieved and what I want to achieve. This is was easy to decorate but not so easy thinking of what to write maybe next time I could write it out more clear. Do you have any idea to add on to this?

Math Problem

This is a math problem that we had to work out. I found it easy to get the answer and found it hard to write it out write. Maybe next time I could write it out more clear. Do you think this need any more improvments

This is a math question that I did. I found this question easy to figure out. But I found it hard to explain how I got the answer. I am going to try and make my working out easier to understand.

My Spelling

This is the spelling I have been doing for the week I have learnt a few thing including word like hyper energetic and more. Doing this with a buddy was easy. I found it a bit hard to figure out when to do the spelling patterns maybe next time I could add a few more words in ´er´ sound because at most I have three. Do you have any more ideas of what I could do next.

This is my maths and what I think I am good at and not the best at.  maybe next time I should get photos of my maths but right now I don´t have any.
